Family Advocacy
Family Advocacy
When a child experiences abuse or trauma, the entire family is affected. At Care House, we understand how overwhelming, confusing, and painful this time can be. Our Family Advocates are here to offer a safe, supportive space where you are heard, believed, and never alone.
We recognize that each family’s experience is unique, and our role is to meet you where you are — without judgment, with compassion, and with the information and tools you need to feel empowered. Our advocates are here to provide emotional support, practical guidance, and trauma-informed resources.
Family Resource Center
Our Family Resource Center is a welcoming place where families and individuals can find the support, resources, and connections they need to thrive. We’re here to provide practical assistance, compassionate guidance, and access to community services that strengthen families and promote stability.
At the Center, visitors can access essential resources such as a food pantry, clothing items, baby supplies, referrals for housing and utility assistance, and connections to other community programs and social services. We also offer information, workshops partnered with local libraries, and one-on-one support to help families navigate challenges and build toward long-term well-being.
