At Care House, we believe that every child deserves to grow up safe, supported, and free from harm. While we are here to respond when abuse occurs, we are also deeply committed to preventing abuse before it happens — by educating, empowering, and equipping our community.
Prevention is a shared responsibility. Together, we can build safer environments for all children. We offer a range of prevention and education services for the community, including:
- Community outreach events within the community
- ROAR is an NCA endorsed child-based education program that introduces the topic of body safety to children 4-8 to help them stay safe from unwanted touches and abuse
- By bringing these presentations into more community settings, we ensure that more children in Macomb County receive education on consistent and accessible body safety education in a familiar environment.
